Practical answers about our model and the questions to bring to New York professionals and counsel.
Start with the professional entity, the exact procedures and the licenses of the people providing them. Clinical authority, ownership and nonclinical management are separate questions. A medical-director agreement alone does not authorize a business or expand a license.
An appearance-enhancement license does not authorize medical practice. New York publishes a procedure-by-procedure licensure chart. Injections and many device treatments differ from permitted cosmetic services; hair removal also has specific distinctions. Check the actual procedure and current guidance.
An RN does not independently diagnose or prescribe. Most nursing medical regimens require a patient-specific order from an authorized practitioner who has examined the patient. Narrow statutory exceptions for non-patient-specific orders should not be treated as general cosmetic-treatment authority.
No. New York NP requirements depend on certification, specialty, qualifying experience and current law. An NP role is different from an RN role. Review the current NYSED requirements and the proposed services before choosing a practice arrangement.
No. Good Faith Exam is our term for participating-practice patient evaluations, not a government credential or universal state fee. Our $10 offering covers up to three services within an established clinical relationship and proprietary EMR workflow. The clinician decides the assessment required; we do not sell standalone outside-organization exams.
We can discuss a planned transition. First identify responsibility for ongoing patients, records, orders, prescriptions, consultation and response to complications. The incoming clinician must agree to the scope before the prior arrangement ends.
Practice fit, clinician availability and location are confirmed individually. A region listed on this website is a planning area, not a verified office, participating clinic or promise of coverage.
Request a written scope covering the services, clinician responsibilities, availability, administrative support, exclusions and complete price. The $10 patient-evaluation offering does not quote a full oversight engagement.
